Bull Products helped to protect the £37m Buxton Crescent hotel heritage site conversion
Bull Products helped to protect the iconic Buxton Crescent, in the Derbyshire spa town, as the Georgian building was converted into a five-star spa hotel.
Completed in 2020, the development included the transformation of the Grade 1 listed building and adjoining Grade 2 listed Natural Baths and Pump Room.
To preserve the listed buildings, VINCI Construction UK needed out of hours protection and a wireless solution for maximum safety and mobility, but with minimum invasive installation requirements.
For the duration of the development, Bull supplied its SiteProtect Heat Detectors to ensure the site was protected 24 hours a day. Bull also supplied a range of fire extinguishers and PIR Intruder Detection, that included an out of hours messaging function to ensure enhanced security inside the crescent and the ground floor of the site.

Our engineers also visited the site to maintain the SiteProtect system and other fire protection products, so the contractors and workforce could work in a safe environment and any fire risk to the building was constantly minimised.”
